ORIGYN was founded by a small team of travellers and Egyptologists who believed that visiting Egypt should be transformative, not transactional. We were tired of seeing the world's most extraordinary destination treated like a checklist.
So we built something different: a travel company that partners only with licensed local operators, employs certified Egyptologists, and designs every itinerary by hand. From the welcome in Cairo to the farewell at the airport, every moment is intentional.

ORIGYN VOYAGE was founded by Haytham Saad, an Egyptian engineering and project-delivery leader with more than twenty-five years of experience across some of the Middle East's most complex and iconic developments.
Throughout that career, one principle became clear: exceptional results never happen by accident. They are created through vision, meticulous planning, seamless coordination, attention to detail, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
After decades of helping deliver extraordinary places, Haytham envisioned applying the same philosophy to extraordinary voyages.
Not simply arranging hotels, transportation and sightseeing, but designing every voyage as one connected experience, carefully balancing Egypt's ancient wonders with its living traditions, cultural discovery with enjoyment, structured experiences with relaxation, and timeless heritage with the energy of modern Egypt.

There is no booking form that puts you into a queue. Every enquiry reaches our team directly. We respond personally, usually within 24 hours, to understand what you are looking for and start shaping something around you.

We design your itinerary.
Based on your travel dates, interests, group size, and budget, our team builds a detailed proposal. We include every hotel, every site, every transfer, and every guide. Nothing is left unspecified or left to chance on arrival.

You confirm and we arrange everything.
Once you are happy with the plan, we handle every booking, every confirmation, and every coordination with our ground team in Cairo. By the time you pack your bag, every detail is already in place.

You arrive. We take it from there.
A member of our team meets you at the airport. Your certified Egyptologist guide joins you from day one. Every transfer, entrance, and experience runs to a schedule that has been tested and refined by people who know Egypt from the inside.

Our Egyptologists, Sharing Egypt as They Know It
Every ORIGYN voyage travels with one of our own Egyptologists. They are part of our team, and they are the reason so much of what you see begins to make sense.
Each one is certified by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. That licence follows years of formal study in ancient Egyptian history, archaeology, art, religion and language, and a state examination.
In practice, that is the difference between seeing Egypt and understanding it.
Our Egyptologists read hieroglyphs. They can tell you what a scene on a temple wall shows, what it meant to the person who commissioned it, which tradition it belongs to, and why it sits exactly where it does. They can explain the politics behind a temple's construction, the people who built it, and the discoveries still being studied inside it today.
They are also generous hosts. Any question, however simple or unexpected, is welcome and answered properly. Their role is to keep Egypt at the centre of your voyage while quietly making sense of everything around you.
We do not hire freelance guides on the day. Our Egyptologists are known to us, trusted by us, and have travelled with ORIGYN guests long enough that we can tell you exactly what to expect.
What We Commit to Every Traveller
We ask you to trust us with something significant. A trip you may have been planning for years, at a cost that deserves to be treated with care. We do not take that lightly, and we want to be specific about what we commit to in return.
Everything is arranged before you arrive.
No improvising on the day. No logistical surprises. Every transfer, guide, hotel, and entrance is confirmed in writing before your trip begins.
Your group stays small.
We cap every journey at a maximum of 10 to 12 travellers. This is not a marketing claim. It is a structural decision that we do not compromise on, because the quality of your experience depends on it.
You will never be redirected for commission.
Our guides have no financial relationship with shops, perfume houses, or papyrus galleries. If your guide recommends somewhere, it is because it is genuinely worth your time.
Someone is always reachable.
Our Cairo-based team is available throughout your trip. If something does not go to plan, you have a direct line to people who can act, not a call centre on another continent.
We are honest before you book.
If a particular itinerary is not right for what you are looking for, we will tell you. We would rather help you find the right trip than confirm the wrong one.
We Are Based in Cairo. That Changes Everything.
ORIGYN is not a tour company that sells Egypt from a desk in another country. Our operational base is Cairo. Our guides live and work here. Our relationships with hotels, sites, and local partners have been built over years of being present on the ground.
This matters more than it might seem.
When a site changes its ticketing system, our team knows the same day. When a particular hotel goes through a change in quality, we notice before it affects a guest. When an opportunity arises to access something that is not on the standard tourist circuit, we can move on it because we have the contacts to make it happen.
It also means that when something unexpected occurs during your trip, as it occasionally does in any destination, the people responsible for your experience are minutes away rather than hours behind in a different time zone.
Our network of licensed local operators, guides, and transport partners has been selected and maintained over years of on-the-ground experience. Every partner is vetted for quality, reliability, and the values we hold for every ORIGYN journey.
